Columbia Basin Trust is committed to hosting a Basin-wide symposium every three to four years.
In 2020, we are hosting two free symposia, with identical agendas, in two different Basin communities, to allow for more people to attend.
An important role for the Trust is bringing people together at events like the symposia, to help the region work toward solutions to shared challenges, celebrate accomplishments and develop connections between residents.
This event engages community leaders, businesses and people active in their communities to collectively look toward the future of the Columbia Basin region.
Anyone who lives in the Columbia Basin Trust region is welcome to attend one of the symposia: whether you are involved with a non-profit, local government or industry, or are interested in the well-being of your community and this region.
Next year, the Our Trust, Our Future: 2020 engagement process will be underway as we envision our future priorities with people in the Basin. The results of the engagement plus other topics of broad regional and community interest, will form part of the symposia agenda. We’ll also be turning 25 next year and hope that you will join in celebrating all that we have accomplished together!
As in previous years, the Trust will host an Evening of Basin Culture and Entertainment in Golden and Trail, open to delegates and the general public.
